Our Flying Field
Our flying field is located in Hooka Creek Road Berkeley. The Wollongong Council has a boom gate on Hooka Creek road that is open from sunrise to sunset. If you wish to visit, but this is locked, our field is about a ½ kilometer walk from the boom gate.
The Club field entry gate is on the right about 250 meters past the boom gate along Hooka Creek Rd and is clearly marked. Please close the gate after you come through. Keep your eye out for models landing/ taking off as you approach the flying strip- they have the right of way. Park in the car park and make yourself known to a member. Please follow any safety directions a club member may give you.
When you become a member of IMAC you will be able to buy a key for these gates.
